West Texas True Ten Five

  Heads up – Pro Tree.

  True 10.5 Tire Size; No W’s (10.5” max tread width).

  Stock frame rails front to rear; maybe mini-tub to fit 10.5 tire only (inner frame must remain in tack).

  Collector mufflers or collector inserts required. No open headers.

  Lexan windshields and windows are allowed.

  Stock firewall in stock location. Stock floor pan to back of seat.

  No tube chassis cars.

  Stock appearing interior with carpet with stock dash.

  Stock type front suspension in stock location.

  Ladder bar and four link suspension allowed.

  No wheelie bars.

  After market bumpers, hoods, front fenders, and fiberglass trunk lid/hatches allowed (must have stock light and grill).

 Only one power adder – any size centrifugal blower allowed.

4 Cylinder – 210ci. Max with Nitrous                                                         1600 lbs. min

                     178ci. Max with Turbo or Blower                                          1900 lbs. min

                    Turbo or Blower between 179ci. to 200ci.                        Add 150 lbs.

                    No power adder.                                                                     Deduct 300 lbs.

6 Cylinder – OEM valve angle.

            327ci. Max with Nitrous                                                                    2300 lbs. min

            270ci. with 91mm Turbo or 871 Blower                                        2700 lbs. min

            Non OEM valve angle (15 - 18 heads)                                    Add 150 lbs.

            Canted valve heads no power adder allowed.                        Deduct 300 lbs.

 

8 Cylinder Small Block:

436ci Max with Nitrous OEM valve angle.                                2800 lbs. min

436ci. Max Non-OEM valve angle. (15 - 18 heads)              Add 100 lbs.

365ci. Max with Roots 871 Blower & Methanol (OEM va)    3200 lbs. min

365ci. Max with Turbo, 91mm max. (OEM valve angle)         3200 lbs min

365ci. Max Non-OEM valve angle. (15 - 18 heads)           Add 150 lbs.

Canted valve or Yates heads, no power adder allowed.   Deduct 300 lbs.

8 Cylinder Big Block:

            572ci. Max with Nitrous                                                                    3250 lbs. min

            468ci. Max with Root 1071 Blower & Methanol                          3585 lbs. min

            No Turbo allowed.

            Big Chief Heads-no power adders allowed:                            Deduct 300 lbs.

 

All Cars- OEM type transmissions-No clutch less.

Any 2, 3, or 4 speed Automatic Transmission with Torque Convertor.

1/8th Mile-All qualifying entries must run faster than 7.50 E.T.

No Tow Vehicles- All race cars must be driven back to pits.

Max 2.5” holes for bell housing bolt in stock tunnel.

IHRA Safety rules and regulations will apply.

Track requirements:

1.     Track will be responsible for calling cars to staging lanes and all announcements.

2.     All WTTTF entries should be directed to association official.

Participant Requirements:

1.     Participant will be responsible for being in the lanes on time.

2.     Participant will be required to post a $200.00 fee for any protest against another driver or car. ($50.00 from each protest will go to WTTTF to help pay for tech.)

3.     Participants will be responsible for pairing after time trials and lane assignments. (All pairing will be based on IHRA Sportsman ladder.)

4.     Each participant is required to join the association prior to or at any event and pay an annual $100.00 membership fee. (This fee is required as a membership fee and also gives voting privileges within the organization. Each paid member is also required to participate in one race in the previous 2 seasons to have voting privileges.

5.     Bye-Runs go to quick ET.

Organizational Requirement:

1.     Organization will be responsible for all sponsorship and purse monies other than what is required of each track.

2.     Organization will promote and advertise each track and sponsor on all available websites.

3.     Organization will be responsible for all payouts at the end of each event.

4.     The organization will collect all funds (association fees) at an event and this burden will not be put upon the track.

5.     Less than 20 cars will run a Quick 8 format as we always have, when car count goes to 20 or greater, we will run a Quick 16 format, and all remaining cars will be paired.

6.     Cars will be weighed before or after every qualifying and all Quick 8 in eliminations.

7.     Domination Clause; where any combination that wins 3 races in a row or majority in the year by one tenth of a second or more can be evaluated by the technical committee and be reviewed for a possible weight penalty.

8.     Conduct Clause; where any individual or individuals with behavior that reflects upon the organization could be reviewed by the officers and result in losing points, banned for a race, etc.
